MFD Headquarters is home to the Front Office Staff. Portions of this building have served as Muncie's Station 1 for more than 100 years. Additions and renovations occurred in 1976. Station 1 is currently home to 1 Squad, 1 Rescue, The Rescue Boat and the Battalion Chief.
